Senior Marketing Analyst

As the Senior Marketing Analyst you will work within the Analysis team to understand The Society's members and support decision making. This will involve providing analysis and market research to the wider marketing team and other internal stakeholders in order to improve satisfaction, meet business objectives and increase sales. Objectives of the role are to:

• Define, execute and provide in-depth analysis on customer segmentation and member activity coupled with campaign
reporting.
• Develop and implement a variety of testing programmes to positively influence future campaigns.
• Assist and influence the Marketing team in order to provide insight to increase the effectiveness of campaigns, deliver
stronger ROI and build sales.
• Review data, databases, data preparation and supporting systems to ensure that all data provided is accurate
and provides meaningful information to deliver successful campaigns.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in data analysis preferably with an understanding of a transactional environment.
You will be comfortable with campaign planning based on insights and segmentation of a customer database. Excellent Excel and Access skills are a must. Experience of column-based systems, such as smartFocus or FastStats would be an advantage.

A high level of numeracy and analytical skills are required, coupled with logical thinking and a broad understanding of on and offline campaigns and customer relationship marketing in order to deliver conclusions based on in-depth data analysis.
You must be a team player who is capable of communicating complex insights and analysis in a straightforward way to internal stakeholders in order to positively influence the marketing output.
