• To lead the Finance Services team
• To have lead senior manager responsibility for risk management (in the department) and audit (internal and external) management.
• To continuously strive for process improvements to improve the overall efficiency and
effectiveness of finance processes.
• To lead finance department involvement in specified multi support service projects.
• To ensure compliance with company and other laws, regulations, and best practice with regard to accounting disclosures and compliance with the financial memorandum.
• To develop and maintain the Financial Regulations, ensuring compliance across the group.
• To pro-actively minimise tax and VAT liability whilst ensuring control and compliance with relevant legislation.
• To complete group and subsidiary financial statements.

Who we're looking for
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) with experience of managing a large team.

£42,000 to £49,000 + final salary pension
