Group Executive Director OVERALL PURPOSE: Working with the Group Executive Director, responsibilities include formatting, agreeing and executing Group strategy with particular emphasis on sales and marketing. Responsible for the sales and profitability of all the Consumer Health Business Units in Europe. Responsible for the marketing of all non strategic products, if.e. key, tactical and generic. Responsible for the implementation of the agreed Consumer Health Group Vision. To formulate and implement new business strategy as per targets agreed with Group Executive Director. To identify negative variances (if any) at an early stage and to propose and implement new initiatives to achieve targets. To provide timely reporting (including monthly Executive Reports), Board Presentations and six monthly Strategic Meetings. To have responsibility for commercial agreements. To have responsibility for medical, regulatory and compliance. Ownership and co-ordination of certain projects.. To have responsibility for defining risk and risk mitigation strategies, both operational and commercial. Co-ordination and interpretation of relative MIS. To proactively manage cross-functional relationships with Support Units and other Consumer Health territories, Director of Strategic Brands and other Management Board Directors. To identify sales opportunities, present solutions, submit proposals, secure contracts specific to given territory. To ensure products and propositions are the best in the market, are communicated well and positioned to address the business objective of the Group. To participate pro-actively as a member of the Management Board.

Who we're looking for
A self starter with a proven track record in management with the ability and desire to help develop and mould a fast-growing organisation. A strategic visionary with the ability and enthusiasm to lead. Flexibility on international travel which could be frequent and at short notice. A good relationship builder with excellent communication skills. Experience in identifying and developing business and cultivating existing client relationships by creating and maintaining an outstanding rapport with clients and business partners. A strong proven commercial acumen and an excellent motivator with well-tuned leadership skills. A mature and driven personality with a strong understanding of business issues enabling rapid grasp of clients needs and problems. An assertive approach with the ability to act as a coach and role model for Business Unit Heads. Propensity to thrive in a demanding environment and be a leader of others through a positive attitude. Excellent PowerPoint skills to prepare and conduct presentations at Board level. An experienced negotiator at senior level backed up by a thorough knowledge or tendering procedures. To include exceptional prospecting skills and strong closing skills. High and in depth knowledge of competition with experience and a proven track record of how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.
