As an Accounts & Tax Manager you will be responsible for the provision of accounting and taxation services to the contractor client base of Norla Group of Companies. You will provide consultancy and advisory support for contractors who operate their own Limited Company and require accounting and taxation support.
This area of Norla Group is a key growth area for the business and you will be responsible for driving this forward. Your key areas of responsibility will be as follows:
• Develop excellent relationships with contractors that require accounting and taxation support.
• Provide accounts preparation, tax compliance (and advice where possible), and accounting services to contractors.
• Implement systems and processes within the department to ensure an efficient and effective service can be provided.
• Reporting directly to the Board, you will be responsible for driving this part of the business forward achieving objectives set by the Board on both service and growth.
This is an excellent opportunity to be responsible for the building and development of a new department within the business, therefore giving you the chance to influence decisions and use your experience to great effect.
The successful candidate will have the support and input of a leading Accountancy Firm in Coventry, who are working closely with Norla Group during this exciting time.
Who we're looking for
Being a Qualified Accountant, you will have an excellent understanding of accounts preparation, bookkeeping and tax compliance and ideally advisory.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a background of working within the profession and wanting to work for a progressive and exciting business that will be both challenging and rewarding.
Due to the nature of the role you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships both internally and externally building creditability and reputation. You will use your own initiative and entrepreneurial flair to develop the department, identifying ways to improve the service and profitability of the business, therefore previous experience in this area is desirable.
