The General Manager will lead a business which provides a comprehensive maintenance & services package that ensures high availability and optimum performance of vital equipment supplied into multiple industrial sectors.
Key responsibilities are:
• Management of Profit and Loss for sustainable levels of growth
• Drive a positive change in culture to increase market share
• Budget Management, Business Growth, Customer Satisfaction, Performance Improvement
• Strategy, Policy & Recruitment - Health & Safety - Efficiency & Cost Control
• Resource Management across functions to maximise Productivity & Quality
• Development through Training, Support and Coaching
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have worked within an Engineering Services provider managing a team of field service engineers and associated stores. Experience of supplying into the business to business sector, especially general industry, would be an advantage. As a strong leader you will be able to demonstrate your ability to drive change through the management of your team. Commercially astute you will be able to identify how process changes deliver performance improvement in service and profitability and then drive this change through your team.
