As the Field Service Engineeryou will be working within the Field Services team on behalf of the Infrastructure Solutions Department. You will be working towards tight "Service Level Agreements" to ensure Field Service meet their "Key Performance Indicators" measurements in Response, Resolution and First Time Fix.
Main activities:
To resolve faults quickly and effectively on a variety of technologies including:
• Printers (Predominantly Laser, but not excluding Dot Matrix & LED)
• PC's - (HP Compaq, Fujitsu, Dell)
• Laptop - (Toshiba, HP Compaq)
• Low end communications (Modems, Terminal Servers, Network Cards)
• Terminals and Keyboards
The role will also involve the use of diagnostics tools to resolve software faults on Windows 2000/XP/Vista PC's.
Who we're looking for
Candidate technical requirements and Personal attributes:
Working knowledge of printer technology with good problem solving skills
•Strongprinter knowledge, preferably: Konica Minolta, OKI, andHP
• PC hardware knowledge
• Basic operational understanding of Windows XP
• Strong field serviceknowledge
• Smart appearance
• Good customer facing skills
• Ability to prioritise
• Clean driving licence
• Team player
• Proved themselves within a similar engineering role.
• Self-Management with good organisational skills.
• Good communication skills
