Financial Services Audit Manager

Become an integral part of the audit group in the Midlands, working in a diverse team that provides high quality, innovative advice and solutions to financial services firms who face regulatory and risk issues.
You will have the opportunity to assist clients on issues ranging from the application of compliance rules imposed on the financial services industry by the FSA, through to predicting and modelling the impacts of future regulatory requirements.

In this position you will provide high quality consulting advice to the financial sector, helping clients to anticipate and understand regulatory and policy change. You will have the opportunity to work with an excellent client portfolio and add value through carrying out strategic reviews of organisations, regulatory reviews, providing solutions and implementing change.

Who we're looking for
To be considered for this role you will have:

• Financial industry experience across any of the following:
-Retail Banking
-Wholesale/Investment Banking
-Insurance (General or Life & Pensions)
• A solid technical knowledge of FSA regulation and compliance including:
-FSA rules regarding systems and control, conduct of business and market conduct
-Compliance structures and operations including industry best practice in compliance
-Anti-money laundering, insider dealing and market abuse regulations, such as Money Laundering Regulations 2003, -JMLSG Guidance Notes, and Criminal Justice Act 1993
-Latest regulatory developments and key current issues facing regulated firms
• A proven track record in the delivery of regulatory and compliance projects
• The ability to identify sales opportunities
• Excellent team working skills
• Strong leadership and people management skills

About our client
A Big 4 Practice with a solid Nottingham base. It would also be possible to base this role in Birmingham or Cambridge through my colleagues in the appropriate offices. The Nottingham office is easily commutable from Leicester, Derby and Lincolnshire.
