As a member of the Healthcare Team, a key focus of this role is working with large volumes of complex heath data, in the design and development of data warehouses and data marts appropriate to support fast and variable analysis of the data via a variety of reporting channels utilising Oracle and Microsoft database platforms.
The purpose of this role is to:
• Ensure that the client's data warehousing and information reporting solutions are developed to a high quality, on-time, and are in-line with defined customer need.
• Ensure that technical development is undertaken in a structured, planned and managed manner, adopting the most appropriate tools and techniques.
• Ensure that technical development is undertaken with a view of the wider customer and market requirements, to maximise re-use.
Who we're looking for
Essential skills:
• 5+yrs Programming
• Advanced PL/SQL knowledge
• Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS
• Ability to develop processes to efficiently handle and manipulate large volumes of data
• Proven ability to deliver high quality IT solutions to tight timescales
• Ability to adapt, quick to learn
• Can act with limited supervision within own area of responsibility
• Able to establish technical and personal credibility with customers, partners, and colleagues
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary project teams
Desirables:
• Degree or professional qualification preferred
• A track record of project delivery in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing across multiple projects.
• Technical skills and knowledge in the area of data warehousing and business intelligence design, build and run
•Knowledge of SQL Server and SIS
•Worked with Web Development
