Responsibilities include providing computational hydraulic analysis for gas, liquid, and multiphase pipelines. You will have to perform optimisation studies for oil and gas gathering pipelines and associated processing facilities and prepare simulations for oil, water and gas separation, and treatment facilities.
Utilise process simulation software. Expertise in utilising pipeline hydraulic simulation software, steady state and transient,. A good candidate will be able to provide process control requirements for input to P&IDs.
You will have to perform cost estimates and optimization studies for processing and pipeline facilities and prepare technical specifications for process equipment and prime movers.
The role will indentify, rectify and optimise any potential bottlnecks in UPSTREAM onshore/offshore faciltiies
Who we're looking for
A minimum of 2-3 years experience in the oil and gas industry, with upstream emphasis.
Ideally candidates will have a BSc in Chemical, Mechanical, or related degree with proven managerial and leadership skills and even a MSc in Oil & Gas Engineering or Petrochemical Engineering
This position will assist the Engineering Manager or Senior Process Engineer in maintaining corporate engineering standards for the Process Engineering group.
Experience with a multitude of natural resources is desirable, including but not limited to heavy crude, natural gas, paraffnic crudes
