The Property Litigation team provides dispute resolution support and advice to the Firm's large real estate department as well as directly to major clients. The particular position that the team is seeking to fill involves landlord/tenant recovery. The team services a variety of clients, many of whom are major clients of the firm. The candidate will be responsible for his or her own workload and will assist the team's fee earners in larger more complex transactions.
The type of work the successful candidate can expect:
• Raising sheriff court actions for recovery of heritable possession
• Advising clients on options to recover arrears and instructing summary diligence
• Pursuing court actions for payment of arrears
• Issuing and dealing with notices served in terms of a lease
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will be:
• Commercially aware
• A strong team player
• Grounding in Property and Litigation work.
