The main purpose of this post is to set up and manage collaborative framework agreements and contracts for a range of commodities and services within specific categories:
- Social Care
- Construction, Estates and Property
- Corporate and Education
- Transport and Fleet
Who we're looking for
QUALIFICATIONS AND RELEVANT TRAINING
- Possession of a recognised procurement qualification.
- Excellent general education up to degree standard or equivalent, and to hold or be working towards a recognised procurement qualification (e.g. MCIPS).
RELEVANT BACKGROUND
- Minimum of 5yearsof working in the field of procurement/purchasing within a large multi-disciplinary organisation.
- Significant background of preparing, evaluating and awarding of tenders as well as contract management.
- Significant background of identifying and delivering value for money savings within a large organisation.
- Knowledge/application of procurement processes and management systems.

- Committed to providing a strong customer focus approach.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment and a strong commitment to working collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders, suppliers and customers.
- Can demonstrate the drive and vision needed to ensure that the Partnership achieves its objectives.
- Evidence of continued professional development activities undertaken.
- LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Listening and Speaking - Able to conduct a simple conversation in the job in both English and Welsh
