Business Analyst - Risk - Energy Trading

My client is a specialist energy trading house that are experiencing tremendous growth and have a very well funded software project pipeline. They are looking for a highly talented Business Analyst to work on their VAR and other Risk projects.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and implement enhancements to their risk management systems
• Prepare comprehensive functional design documents
• Monitor the technical development process and advise developers
• Design test plans to coordinate both UAT and Regression testing
• Coordinate project teams to ensure delivery and integration of systems into daily business processes
• Ongoing identification and prioritisation of new business requirements
Who we're looking for
You are a degree qualified achiever with a desire to succeed within a driven organisation.
Required:
• Proven track record in designing and implementing risk systems
• Business knowledge of energy commodities
• Thorough understanding of risk principles and also daily risk reporting requirements in a large scale trading environment
• Structured, systematic and analytical in approach. UML, Rational Rose and Prince 2 experience is preferable.
• High level of motivation to complete projects and go the extra mile
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate professionally at all business levels
