This is a great opportunity to join a successful and large organisation as a HR Manager and to lead HR practices on site that will drive improvements in quality, productivity and service; ultimately making the site a best place to work.

This will be achieved through working in partnership with managers to develop the capability of their teams and impact on the performance of the site overall. The role will also be a visible presence on site, supporting the general operation and implementing company HR practice in a consistent way.

There is also the opportunity to devise and implement an effective HR strategy for the site and implement this using the help of your HR team

Who we're looking for
• The ideal candidate will be of graduate calibre with HR experience gained in a challenging distribution environment.
• Experience of improving practices and driving cultural change
• Proven success working in a unionised environment and managing complex Trade Union relationships
• Ability to manage, coach and develop a HR team
• Excellent employee relations and employment law knowledge
• They must be able to clearly demonstrate experience of operating at and influencing senior operations managers.
• They must demonstrate a genuine passion for the company and be able to effectively and concisely communicate their approach to HR within the business.
• They need to be confident, resilient and self motivated, with a highly organised approach to work.
• They need to be highly IT literate and have good numeric and verbal reasoning skills.
