Finance Manager

As a result of the demonstrable company growth and development a brand new role now exists for a Finance Manager. Based in Blackburn and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be fully responsible for the day to day running and development of the Management Accounts team.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
• The productions of all cash flow forecasts
• The management of budgeting and periodic reporting
• Analysis and business commentary on all budgetary variances
• The supervision of a team of 3 management accountants
• Full responsibility for management reporting
• Liaison with site management teams providing assistance in the understanding if financial and non-financial information
• The development of systems and processes
• Statutory reporting in to group
• The implementation of robust internal control
• KPI reporting
Who we're looking for
Are you a motivated self starter? Do you enjoy interaction with people, finance and non-finance alike? Do you have a demonstrable track of working autonomously within an FMCG manufacturing environment? Do you understand the concept of a high volume rapidly changing FMCG industry, and more importantly can you demonstrate this understanding? Have you worked within an environment which embraces change and development? Perhaps you have played an integral part within a change management process?
As the successful candidate, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with an essential understanding of the FMCG manufacturing industry. With the gravitas to communicate with all levels of management you will be tenacious, resilient and unyielding in your approach to constant improvement. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of achievement throughout your career, and have clear aspirations for future progression.
