The position involves regular contact with customers - both end users and our Channel Partners. You need to be able to identify and qualify sales opportunities, close business and liaise with other departments to identify new business opportunities. In addition to this you will maintain focus on delivering the necessary bookings performance within our monthly and quarterly reporting cycles.
· Maximise service revenue and bookings through the effective and timely renewal of Service Agreements and the promotion of our non-contract service offerings to Channel Partners and selected end-user accounts.
· 75% of time spent client facing, meeting with both end users and channel partners.
· Work with all ofour clientssales units to identify new business and ensure all business proposals include the provision of Services.
· Work closely with the regionally aligned EMEA Service Business Development Managers in order to aggressively target sales opportunities. Share workload and responsibility in order to maximise contribute towards the regions sales quota.
· Make effective use of our clients investment in its global CRM system by providing high quality customer records - accurate record keeping is essential to ensure the successful operation of the department.
Who we're looking for
· Background of success in a Business development, Channel Management - professional services sales within a demanding technology business.
· A proven track record of success against sales and revenue targets.
· Ambitious, pro - active and self-motivated, assertive with an adaptable attitude.
· +5 years commercial experience in a service or solutions selling role.
· Able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast paced environment
· Experience using computerised CRM/Database systems.
