Pall-Ex operates with 100 independent companies and provides Pall-IT, a bespoke network, to all of their partners. Pall-Ex is the market leader providing a high level of customer service through innovative methods. The IT department is critical to the future development of the business and information flow. The IT at Pall-Ex currently has incredibly high standards and came top of a customer satisfaction survey.
As an IT Director you will be expected to be both technical and strategic and will report to the board. For the first 3 months you would be expected to research the market and provide a systems integration. It would be hugely beneficial for the candidate to have an understanding of barcodes or a bar-coding system.
At full compliment the IT department has 12 people working in it. As an IT Director you will be expected to grow and maintain the department.
Who we're looking for
The successful IT Director will have recent demonstrable experience with
• Leading an IT Department at IT Director level
• Transport / Distribution / Logistics industry experience is crucial to the success of the role
• Barcode labels
• Roll out of IT department
• Systems integration
• Understanding of stakeholder / shareholder relationships
It would be beneficial to have:
• Italian or Spanish at a fluent level
