This diverse and challenging role as a Business Improvement Manager offers the opportunity to lead lean initiatives across the company's UK sites. Within the business improvement team you will be required to identify and implement strategies that establish best practises across a variety of areas including production, quality, health & safety and customer service. Your projects will range from bespoke single site projects to multi-site lean programmes. You will also be required to train and develop other people within the business to drive a continuous improvement culture.
Who we're looking for
A continuous improvement expert who has a proven track record of delivering results. Your skill set should include the following:
• Degree qualification in an engineering or operational discipline.
• Implementation of successful improvement initiatives.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of lean tools and techniques including Kaizen, Six Sigma and 5S.
• The ability to influence people to ensure that projects are successfully implemented, sustained and delivered.
