In this high profile, critical position you will manage the commercial and operational performance of parcel carriers used by the client organisation. This will involve negotiating commercial terms and also monitoring the operational performance of the carriers. From a day to day perspective you will deal with any operational or customer service issues and act as the main point of contact between the parcel carriers and the organisation. This a fast-moving role which has an exciting mix of operational and commercial management.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate for this role will have had prior exposure to managing parcel carriers within a fast-paced blue chip environment which places high demands on customer service. You will have excellent negotiating skills together with an astute commercial mind. The successful candidate will have an understanding of warehousing and distribution and the impact of this on customer service levels. The ability to communicate and influence across the business will also be a key element of this role.
