An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commodity Buyer to join the purchasing team of a leading construction company based in the East Midlands. The main responsibilities of the role will be:
• Prepare and issue enquiries, carry out quotation analysis and evaluation
• Select and propose appropriate vendors
• Troubleshoot any problems between Suppliers and my client
• Influence, negotiate with and manage key internal stakeholders to deliver Procurement led initiatives.
•Prepare and present reports as required, achieve targets set by team
• Monitor Supplier Performance robustly against KPI's and support improvement in value.

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within procurement alongside excellent analytical and relationship management ability. It would be beneficial to have an understanding of the construction sector.
