The Quality Engineer will be based in the Midlands. The main responsibilities of the role are;
• Contract Review
• Development project support including:
1. Product release
2. Quality plans
3. Key Characteristics
4. product process verification audits
5. Compliance issues
6. Quality risks and mitigation
7. Failure Review Boards and analysis
8. FAI activity
9. Product Conformity
• Customer-related activity including:
1. Support for customer audits and reviews
2. Liaison with government and regulatory representatives
3. Customer Liaison
Who we're looking for
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Engineering qualification - minimum HNC or equivalent
* Working Knowledge of AS9100 and EASA IR21 or JAR21
* Aerospace industry backgroundis highly desirable
DESIRED:
* Maturity, Integrity and Credibility at all levels
* Communication skills in all forms of media
* Willing to step outside the QA function to work with internal and external customers on their terms
* Attention to Detail
* Personal flexibility and objectivity
