Financial Accounting Manager

Based at the Head Office this leading brand require a leading candidate to take ownership for the financial accounting process for circa 15 subsidiary companies and managing 5 direct reports. A maternity leave cover, with a substantial handover planned, there is flexibility to include candidates in the shortlist who are either immediately available or concluding a contract within the next 4 weeks.Key areas of delivery will include:
• Management of daily treasury process and calculations for Group net cash position.
• Oversee coordination of forecast and budget processes.
• Monitor and review preparation of statutory accounts for subsidiary companies, as well as Head Office.
• Monitor and review capex tracker reports and balance sheet reconciliations.

Who we're looking for
• A strong people manager having worked with teams with 5 or more reports.
• Exposure to working within a Finance team in the FMCG sector is very important
• Strong Microsoft Office and SAP skills are desirable.
• Qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA
• Strong accounting systems background would be advantageous
