Due to major changes and expansion within the company, this major retail organisation offering food, clothing and other merchandise requires a FM Director to be based in Yorkshire.
This newly created role is in place to develop and maintain the high standard of FM Services within the organisation.
The successful applicant will be reporting directly into the Director General of Finance and be expected to lead, develop and motivate the FM team. The candidate will be an experienced Facilities Manager, with a proven record of success and significant experience of delivering service improvements and a track record of managing large contracts (£25 m +) is essential.
Responsibilities include:
• Providing professional advice and guidance on facilities management, ensuring full compliance will all legislation.
• Leading and overseeing all aspects of the FM operational management team.
• Monitoring the performance of the Service Providers against agreed specifications, and KPI's.
• Development of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage the budget for the UK.
Who we're looking for
Required:
• Minimum of 5 years FM experience (preferably a total facilities management solution within a retail environment).
• Experience of managing budgets and planning FM delivery.
• Proven experienced of managing large multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Management experience.
• Multi-site experience.
Desired:
• Educated to a degree level in a Property or FM related subject.
• BIFM membership.
• Experience of working at Board level within a large organisation.
