An interesting contract role with a very well known and highly respected Retail firm based in Central London as a Corporate Finance Strategy Analyst. Our client are looking for an analyst to join their team for 4 months initially (with possibility to extend). This role will be highly analytical, providing strategic insight from market and competitor analysis - the aim being to assess potential market opportunities for the company, benchmark against competitors and identify M&A options.
As a Corporate Finance Strategy Analyst you will be comfortable doing financial modelling and in depth analysis. You will be responsible for assessing the viability of product/service offerings by this firm in relation to their competitors and the state of the market. This will include looking at potential M&A opportunities.

Who we're looking for
Successful candidates will:
• be degree educated preferably to MBA level
• have previous experience in a relevant commercial role, preferably with one of the large strategy houses/Big 4 consultancies
• preferably have treasury/banking exposure
• be highly analytical
• have excellent communication skills at all levels within a business and client facing skills
• be financially astute and have excellent commercial acumen
