Senior Civil and Industrial Cost Manager/ Planner

As a Senior Civil and Industrial Cost Manager/ Planner you will be fully accountable for London working in the Cost Consultancy team which operates within my clients Project Management group. Your responsibility will be to provide early cost estimates for civil engineering works on large (£50 m to £2bn) projects including railway, e.g. Channel Tunnel Rail Link, airports, site developments, e.g. the Olympics. On top of this you will be expected to write and present reports on these works to clients of national and international importance, undertaking procurement and construction contract administration tasks and take profit responsibility for yourself and your estimating support team on the projects you carry out.
Who we're looking for
Ideally a proven Civil and Industrial Cost Manager/ Planner in a Consultancy or Contractor background (ideally time served in both) with a number of years served post-graduation as QS/ estimator in PQS or QS Consulting engineering. You must be based, or prepared to live in London region to be considered. As an individual you will be an exceptional people manager from the Railway, civil airports orhighways sector.
