Reporting to the Group Health & Safety officer and visiting projects nationwide, you will be required to;
• Provide support to project management teams within the Interiors Division for the Health and Safety aspects of projects, Including compilation of project file information, Health & Safety Plans, Risk Assessments and Safe Working Procedures
• Site inspections of projects to ensure compliance with the requirements of Health & Safety legislation on all aspects of site projects works
• Ensure Sub-Contractors paperwork and procedures are acceptable prior to the commencement of site works
• Training of project staff on health and safety issues
You will also be required to quickly develop a sound understanding of project requirements giving support to meet the project goals.
. Review of existing Health and Safety situation at all sites to ensure compliance with legislation and Company policy, including assessment of sub-contractors' safety procedures, risk assessments and safe working procedures and method statements and identify and deliver project staff health and safety training needs.
Who we're looking for
Successful candidates will have;
• A track record of construction experience, NEBOSH or CSCS HSE card
• Understanding of relevant UK Health and Safety legislation.
• Good report writing skills
• Self starter with a proactive approach to Health and Safety
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
