Business Analyst

In recognition of the recent growth of the organisation, particularly into new business areas not previously covered by the core applications suite, my client is embarking on a major review of business requirements and processes to be able to produce a Request for Proposal / Business Specification for one or more replacement applications. As the Business Analyst you will be working in a small team that is responsible for eliciting user requirements, defining business cases, business data and process modelling and writing business and systems specifications across the Group. This is a unique opportunity to be involved at the start of a global applications development project.

Who we're looking for
Required:
• Demonstrable exposure as a commercial Business Analyst
• Exposure of discussing issues with business users and defining requirements
• Full lifecycle exposure of at least two development projects
• Proven ability to produce complex written documents - samples will be required

Preferred:
• Exposure of requirements and development methodologies
• Ability to interrogate databases using SQL
• Exposure in commodity trading, financial or logistics systems
• Ability to speak business German
