Job Role
- You are responsible for the reporting to the Finance Director in London and to interact with invested companies, joint venture partners and third party service providers.
- You are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements for the various holding entities and SPVs
- You are responsible for the production of management statements
- You deal with cashflow reporting and intercompany reconciliations
- You are responsible for the preparation for tax information and signing off annual accounts for audit
- You are team spirited and will lead and build an accounting team
- You develop strong relationship with banks
- You coordinate investment funding
Who we're looking for
- You have a university degree and you are a qualified accountant
- You gained your experience in a corporate accounting environment or as an external auditor with exposure to real estate or fund accounting
- You have strong statutory reporting experience, including preparation of consolidated financial statements
- You have a relevant experience in building a team and developing and implementing finance reporting systems
- IFRS knowledge is a strong asset
- You are organized, rigorous and able to work on your own initiative
- You have a strong personality
- You have strong computer skills
- You are fluent in English and French, the knowledge of any additional languages is an asset
About our client
Our client is a European real estate fund which has invested and committed capital of approximately ?1.6 billion through its three funds. The funds target opportunistic investments with an equity size typically between ?30 and ?60 million in either pure property or corporate operating entities whose value is primarily supported by property assets. The company has the capacity to invest over $8 billion.
