Leading Telecoms Co looking for an MBA qualified Head of Internal Consulting to lead their Corporate Consulting team based in Central London.

Primary Purpose of Role:
This Programme is designed to develop future leaders through selection of talent, exposure to the business and personal development. MBA team members are rotated through a number of high profile, high impact assignments over a 12 - 18 month period in order to gain an accelerated understanding of the business and the key transformation objectives the organisation, as well as to develop their own network within the organization and their leadership skills. The programme is structured along the lines of a consultancy with the Team Manager being responsible for a Customer Experience practice and a team of managers and consultants.

Key responsibilities
The role of the Head of MBA Team is overall to manage their internal consultancy practise.

To design and deliver the MBA programme with full responsibility of management, recruitment and development of MBAs across the business with the day to day support of 3 Team Managers. Accountable for the success of the MBA project across the organisation

Future Leadership Programme Development:
o Provide strategic direction for the attraction and retention of candidates capable of undertaking senior leadership roles within the organisation, who foster organisational collaboration, drive new ways of working and are role models for the company values
o Promote the MBA programme both internally and externally, raising it's profile and spreading it's reach across LoBs

Business Development Responsibility:
Oversee the management, development and lead a team of MBA members delivering business transformation, commercial rigour and process improvements across the organisation

Who we're looking for
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone to move away from the mainstream Management Consultancy business (hectic travelling lifestyle) yet still have a high level role heading-up an internal consultancy practice. You will need to be MBA qualified and have expertise in working for a technology driven large multi-site organisation preferably to include consultancy leadership along with:
•Strong commercial awareness and a strong business understanding
• Previous experience of setting up and running MBA programmes or leading a consulting practice
• Ability to manage a project of such size
• Track record in delivering and directing change in complex environments
• People leadership skills and a keen interest in developing people
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to build respect and credibility at all levels of the organisation.
