At Mole Valley Farmers we are leading the field in rural retailing and we are seeking an experienced and dynamic retail manager to join our Retail Operations team. You will be running and developing a Business Centre within Cornwall. The successful candidate will be responsible for a turnover in excess of £4m, a management team of 4 and approx. 35 staff.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be fully accountable for the development of Business Centre sales performance and gross profit targets. You will ensure these results are achieved in store by maximising business performance through the delivery of excellence in:

• Customer Service
• Visual merchandising
• Retail Standards and compliance
• Human resource management
• Business KPI's - sales, margin, stock control, audit, costs, profit
• Development of people
• Communication

Who we're looking for
We're looking for a Single Site Manager or Senior Deputy Manager who has a proven track record in delivering results through their people and who is ready for their next challenge!

You'll be a confident and creative hands on leader with excellent commercial skills, good at working under pressure. Most importantly, you'll be able to quickly grasp the unique culture of our customer base and have the ability to influence effectively at all levels - challenging the status quo, whilst retaining a sense of humour!

Our business includes over thirty Mole Valley, Scats and D&I Bridgmans retail stores across the South West and South of England, as well as our direct agricultural manufacturing, sales and supply business covering everything from animal feeds to farm buildings.

What's on offer
Basic Salary up to £30,000 + fully expensed car and fuel card
