This role is responsibility for developing a strategic marketing plan and managing the implementation and tactical delivery of marketing activity to drive growth and new business.Working closely with the UK and Internal Sales team to communicate the marketing activities across the business, the person in this role will have a real opportunity to affect change and deliver for the business as a whole. Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Director and with line management responsibility for 2 Marketing Executives, there is real scope for influence and challenge.
You will be joining the business at an exciting time of NPD and new business opportunities for growth. With overall responsibility for increasing and driving the brand presence the key tasks include:
• Establish and communicate the group marketing strategy and develop effective marketing programmes to increase market penetration and raise the profile of the BSC
• Develop and maintain a class-leading CRM strategy to help focus commercial activities on areas of maximum ROI
• Devise and introduce strategic and tactical marketing initiatives to support the UK & International Sales Departments
• Devise and introduce strategic and tactical marketing initiatives to support BSC Awards
• Conduct and maintain competitor analysis information and data
• Conduct and maintain customer research to ensure that communications plan and services provided are fit for purpose
• Build brand credentials and develop an effective campaign to celebrate 50 years of the BSC
• Co-ordinate mailings and other such promotional activity
• Develop strong professional relationships with other relevant departments to investigate and launch new products and services to be supplied under the BSC brand
• Forecast group needs and manage marketing budgets accordingly
• Manage marketing and other BSC staff so that their professional marketing experience and skills are developed

Who we're looking for
This role requires a dynamic and innovative marketing professional who will have a proven track record of strategic and operational marketing experience from a B2B background. Candidates who can evidence people management skills and have had some experience of working alongside sales teams will be prioritised. Strong communication and influencing skills are required within the business as well as with external bodies and marketing services. CIM qualified candidates preferable.

What's on offer
Up to £45,000 (strictly dependent on experience) basic salary+ benefits
