Warehouse Shift Operations Manager

This is a genuinely exciting role within a major player in 3rd Party Logistics working on behalf of a major UK Retailer. Reporting to the Operations Manager and managing within a food distribution operation, you will take responsibility for day-to-day operational and production activities within the distribution centre . This job involves working a 4-on, 4-off shift patter so flexibility is required.

Key Accountabilities include : -
* Team Management
* Effective leadership of operational and administration teams
* Delivery of KPI and Service Level's.
* Maximising accuracy, productivity and space utilization.
* Ensuring Daily / weekly workload planning and volume forecasting routines are accomplished.
* Motivating staff and driving a culture of health and safety and continuous improvement

Who we're looking for
You will have managed in a fast-moving distribution environment and have experience of budgetary controls and KPI management. With a high commitment to customer service, you will be able to analyse the operation to identify areas for improvement and implement the changes accordingly. The successful candidate will also be able to display strong skills in the areas of communication and people management.
