SCOPE:
Legal Counsel will support transactions across the region (Europe) with a main focus on the Nordics , where he/she will be the single point of contact for the country management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Principal responsibilities:
Preparation, negotiation and closure of Telco/IT services agreements with multi -national customers and indirect channels.
Preparation, negotiation and closure of all other substantial international transactions with customers, partners and suppliers and all related matters;
Post contract legal support to Sales and Sourcing;
Training of clients on all areas of legal practice.
Secondary responsibilities:
Compliance and governance;
Management of collections and disputes;
Provision of legal support on real estate transactions;
Management of corporate legal affairs for designated countries;
Provision of legal support to Human Resources;
Provision of legal support to Finance;
Support to Regional Counsel on other areas of the L & R Department's responsibilities on an ad-hoc basis;
Member of a country business management team.
Who we're looking for
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
UK/common law qualified
At least 5 years relevant experience PQE - with ideally at least 2 years in-house in an international operating entity;
M & A and/or outsourcing experience preferred.
Good legal qualification (upper third);
Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory, French fluency preferred, other languages advantageous.
