Interim Adult's Strategy & Performance Manager

An Interim Adult's Strategy & Performance Manager is required to manage a number of initiatives within the Adult Social Services department of a local government. You will:
- Support and lead the development of effective performance management systems to support the evaluation of outcomes,
- Take a leading role in the provision of a strategic planning service to the Department, Health & Care Network and associated partnership groups,
- Contribute to the development of integrated and partnership working in relation to strategy and performance functions for Adult Services and health services,
- Undertake research and produce reports, discussion papers, briefings and other documents on behalf of the Head of Adult's Strategy, Performance and Planning and when required present them to a variety of audiences, including Members, senior officers, partnership boards and other external agencies,
- Contribute to the development of departmental and partnership equalities plans to meet Corporate and national requirements and represent the Department on Corporate groups as required.

Who we're looking for
The right candidate must have the following attributes:
- Significant experience in a local government, health or social care environment,
- Good knowledge of legislation and change agenda covering NHS and local government and current issues in this field,
- Significant experience of working in a strategy/ policy role within the public sector or related organisation,
- Excellent project or programme management skills,
- Experience of partnership working and developing effective working relationships with staff at all levels and disciplines and from external agencies.
