Our client, URSA, part of the Uralita group, is building a new manufacturing site near Hull. As a result of this we are now looking to appoint an HR professional to take responsibility for the people on the site. This is a full generalist position as we require the HR professional to be able to carry out of range of Human Resources tasks in support of the management team. These will include;


- Recruitment

- Training and Development

- HR budget management

- Industrial Relations (the site will be unionised)

- Supervision of the payroll function

- Line management responsibility
This is an exciting and challenging role as in the first instance you will be one of the first people to join the UK business in the area.

Who we're looking for
Ideally you are a generalist HR professional who has operated in a similar manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills;

- Relationship building

- Knowledge of UK employment law

- Effective communication at all levels

- Ability to get things done


This role will report to the Divisional HR Manager and will have dotted line responsibility into the Plant manager. This role will be based in the Hull area.
