To provide quality financial analysis of all aspects of the business and to manage a team of Assistant Management Accountants.
Your duties will include amongst others:
• Manage, motivate and develop a team of assistant management accountants
• To develop financial reporting processes and procedures to ensure quality, efficiency and timeliness
• To produce the annual financial budgets and monthly management accounts
• To assist in Financial year end
• To provide quality support and advice to budget holders and managers
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be a person who wants to get into the bones of an organisation and understand its issues and broader business, lifecycle, products etc in order to influence and improve its future prospects via excellent financial management.
You will be likely to possess the following skills and qualities:
• Commercial Acumen and ability to see the whole picture
• Interest in continuous improvement of both the team and service delivered
• Experience of using a large accounting software system
• Ability to identify and recommend strategic initiatives
• Comfortable with liaising with senior figures at executive board level.
• Attention to detail and application of hands-on Management Accounting
• Positive attitude and can-do work ethic
• Inspire confidence and lead by example
