Financial Controller

Ensure all fundamental financial controls and disciplines are in place throughout the business.

Measure and report performance and take action, along with the management team, to deliver continuous improvement

Contribute to business plans, challenging assumptions made in the compiling of forecasts and subjecting forward plans to robust scrutiny and testing.

Maintain adequate cash flow and close control of expenditure

Review credit limits for new and existing customers

Maintain regular stock counts.

Maintain Statutory Books, produce Annual Report, quarterly VAT returns, Corporation Tax

Take ownership of the Management Information and Accounting Systems.

Periodic competitor and market review and interpreting influence on business plans

Supervise 1 member of staff, ensuring they are adequately trained

Maintain internal policies and ensure adherence to relevant legislation

Management of the company Group Personal Pension, Life Assurance and Private Health Schemes.

Organise the statutory and ad hoc shareholder meetings, administer share transactions as and when they arise.

Who we're looking for
You are likely to be a qualified accountant or qualified by experience, able to conduct all accounting duties from journal entryto company secretary. It will be helpful to have come from a manufacturing business.
