Financial Analyst

The role of Financial Analyst within this organisation is to assess the financial viability and capabilities of organisations of a wide variety of sizes.
Your responsibilities will include amongst others:
• Preparation of Annual Viability Reviews
• Assessment of development capacity
• Analysis of performance
• Review of financial returns; business plans; performance indicators etc
• Conducting specific reviews to support strategies and drafting of reports
• Interpretations of risk models
• Apply quality control processes to ensure analysis is robust; of top quality; and consistent
• Meet with relevant Financial Directors or CEO to discuss outcome of analysis

Who we're looking for
Our client is looking for someone with both personal and professional confidence. In the course of your responsibilities it is likely that occasional potentially difficult conversations will be had with the FD/CEO of the organisation on whom you have carried out analysis and your ability to handle this well and be able to have confidence in your professional output will be a big advantage.
You will possess the following attributes:
• Strong analytical ability - ability to analyse data; draw conclusions; and exercise sound judgement from a range of material
• An emphasis on interest in data/numbers
• Report writing skills
• Ability to build relationships
• An understanding of the principles of risk management
• A Can-Do attitude and enthusiasm

It would be an advantage if you had experience of analysing longer term forecasts / business plans and if you had some knowledge/experience of property industry or related sectors
