As the Technical Operations Consultant, you will be providing Outsourcing Services to achieve the organisations objectives and continuously improve its performance. Some on site consultancy maybe required and involvement in project work within the department.

Main areas of activity:
•Concepts of Payroll Practices - UK and Eire Payroll legislation. Statutory requirements around taxation and NI.
• Analysis and diagnosis of problems - product knowledge. Environment knowledge. Problem solving skills.
• Client Liaison - customer facing skills.
• Supervisory and Team working - leadership.
• System Implementations and Change Management - understanding of analysis techniques and implementation of project life cycle.
• On-going development of professional competencies - statutory knowledge. Creativity.
• Support to internal departments - product knowledge. Client knowledge.
• Maintain work recording system - knowledge of time recording and call logging systems.
• Understanding Business Environment - client knowledge. Understanding of data centre set up. Testing skills.
• Resource Management - leadership. People skills.
• Revenue Maximisation - understands client revenue streams.
• Recommends Process Improvements - business standards and change management processes.
• Client Training and Documentation - training and Presentation skills.
• Project Management - project management methodologies, practices and tools.

Who we're looking for
Technical Operations Consultant:
• A track record in help desk duties and customer management.
• Proven problem solving skills.
• A professional qualification in IT and / or Payroll would be desirable.
