Reporting to the Forecasting and Logistics Manager in London South West, the demand planner will be responsible for the forecasting and the subsequent inventory control of various product lines. With Reporting a key function, your analytical abilities will be key to success.

Who we're looking for
The Demand Planner will have demonstrable understanding in demand planning and/or sales forecasting. This role requires a balance of financial astuteness and commercial awareness. The current process is driven by Excel, so you will be adept at utilising Excel and also managing data in a structured environment to ensure forecast accuracy.

Here is the summary of requirements for the Demand Planner :

• Previous experience in a similar forecasting/demand planning/supply chain role essential
• Experienced to Advanced level in Microsoft Excel
• Previous demand planning experience<BR>
• A high degree of numeracy
• Fully proficient in standard IT packages, advanced Excel user essential for the role
•Proficiency of SAP/Manugistics.
• FMCG experience an advantage
• Good time management and ability to priorities effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to build effective business relationships
• Strong team player with ability to effectively listen, contribute and influence
• Ability to work with autonomy on areas of specific responsibility
• A pro-active attitude
• Competent at resolving issues
• An eye for detail
