Reporting into the Financial Director and responsible for 2 category managers you will berequired tofurther develop the procurement function, and deliver the recommendations of the Savings Discovery across the entire organisation. You will manage and support category managers in the day-to-day running of centrally negotiated contracts, reviewing existing contracts and identifying new areas for consolidation, support local buyers in Procurement procedures and supplier selection and provide support and information on centrally negotiated contracts to internal customers. In Addition, the Procurement Manager willsupport the Category Managersin providing account management services and manage day to day business onthe centrally managed utilities, telecoms and travel contracts, in particular liaising closely with the property and IT departments to provide high level of customer service to all users.

Who we're looking for
Knowledge and Skills
•Background in procurement and negotiation procedures.
• Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise workload and meet deadlines,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical skills and the ability to proactively resolve issues are essential.
• Change management skills are desirable as the recommendations from the Savings Discovery project and the Procurement Policy are implemented.
