Reporting to the Local Education Partnership (LEP) Programme Director, based in Leeds, you will need to be able to demonstrate experience delivering high quality cost effective design solutions and manage these successfully through the approval processes of Leeds City Council and the LEP. This will be achieved by managing the design development process for new projects being delivered under the Leeds Strategic Partnership Agreement.
Who we're looking for
The successful Senior Design Manager will need to demonstrate the following:
• Experience of PFI/PPP environments essential. (Ideally BSF)
• Thorough knowledge of design standards for education projects.
• Architectural background with key contacts within local architectural practices.
• Establish and mobilise a suitable professional team to develop the design of future projects in conjunction with Strategic Projects Proposal team.
• Manage inputs of Estimators and Planners from business units into the design process.
• Provide support and advise to construction delivery teams.
• Develop designs that meet Leeds City Councils affordability requirements.

What's on offer
Basic salary £60,000 - £70,000 plus Executive Package.
