?X To manage, implement and maintain the optimal ranges in accordance with defined business processes and corporate range authorisation timescales, whilst minimising churn at store level.
?X To create an ideal product planogram, adhering to dressing rules and merchandising principles, to minimise impact on the supply chain and instore availability.
?X To incorporate up-to-the-minute merchandising techniques and display equipment within the planogram and visual displays to deliver optimum sales opportunity and customer satisfaction.
?X To analyse pre- and post- range implementation to understand the category performance by store space break. Working with retail operational support, identify and resolve any issues on retail compliance.
?X To compile and analyse ranging matrices enabling optimal range selection above minimum trading intensities.
?X To deliver the agreed team priorities with the Planning Manager, taking into account workload planning and prioritisation
?X To participate in broader business initiatives impacting the business unit
?X To interpret, apply and deliver corporate and category strategies through product knowledge and range selection.
?X To focus on range performance through the analysis of historic data and future market/product trends (where data exists) to grasp range opportunities to deliver heightened financial performance.
?X To fully understand the role of the buyer and work in partnership to deliver enhanced financial performance and customer satisfaction.
Who we're looking for
?X Numerate with knowledge of merchandising/display related experience within a retail environment
?X Product, market and consumer knowledge
?X Effective communicator and networker
?X Demonstrate the following Technical Skills:
o Cost Structure Knowledge & Skills
o Information Mgt & Systems
o Innovation & Creativity Knowledge & Skills
