To determine and implement cost effective production methods and controls for both existing and new products. Responsibilities include;
• Generation of manufacturing documentation e.g. manufacturing build specs, routings, process specs and control plans.
• Design of tooling and gauging
• To support existing products and processes
• Involvement in lean and continuous improvement activities
• Support product transfer projects
Who we're looking for
• A strong Background in electro-mechanical production engineering experience in a manufacturing support role.
• Educated to HNC/Degree level in a related engineering discipline
• Experience of NPI an advantage
• Experience of using SPC techniques for process improvement activity
• Use of CAD systems for tooling design

This business unit produces high-technology piezo-electric and piezo-resistive sensors and a range of high volume electronic components including potentiometers, resistors, encoders and switches.
