This role is to actively manage the 'Approved Fund Range' available to the various Strategic Business Units (SBU's). This requires the negotiation of Fund Management Agreements (and competitive financial terms) so that funds can be linked to the Life Company and OEIC admin platforms. The job holder also manages the processes whereby Corporate Actions and other fund related changes are reflected in related legal documentation and on company admin systems.
1. Relationship Management
Establish and maintain effective relationships with Fund Management Groups:
• Negotiating and maintaining 'Tier One' terms so as to maximise profitability for the Life Company
• Ensuring that changes to funds are communicated to the SBU's (and systems providers) within agreed service levels
• Ensure contacts at fund management groups are maintained in order to receive early notification of any proposed fund changes (including mergers and closures)
2. Ongoing Development of the 'Approved Fund Range', including
• Fund Launches
• Fund Closures
• Fund Restructures
• Fees and Rebates
3. Fund Launches
• Manage and maintain the 'Funds Onboarding' process in line with principles agreed
• Liaise with all relevant parties within the organisation regarding proposed new funds
Ensure Fund Agreements and Letters of Variation are put in place prior to launch
4. Fund Closures/Restructures
• Notify internal parties of proposals and suggest appropriate course of action and co-ordinate closure/restructures with the Company

Who we're looking for
Our client is looking for a candidate who has a proven track record in negotiating and drafting the relevant documentation around mutual funds with an excellent eye for detail and previous management experience.
