Under the direction of the Divisional Finance Manager, this post is responsible for the provision of a pro-active management accounting service to the Trust Services Division.
This post is responsible for ensuring that their section undertake the necessary work to meet financial statutory deadlines, including:
• Production of monthly accounts
• Production of year end accounts
• Setting annual budgets
• Production of TFRS
• Production of reference costs
You will also be managing a team of 2.
Who we're looking for
• Evidence of a high standard of numeracy and literacy.
• Degree level of Education
• AAT or equivalent or studying towards CCAB accounting qualification
• Experience of working within a management accounting department with practical experience of using advanced management accounts techniques. This includes budget setting, production of monthly accounts, completion of year end accounts, complex financial analysis and interpretation.
• Experience in the resolution of complex financial queries
• Undertaking reconciliations and other forms of quality checking
• Leading financial meetings with senior managers, Clinical leads and other non-finance staff, presenting complex financial information and discussing complex financial issues.
• Working to and managing staff in order to meet deadlines
• Producing financial information in format using appropriate IT
