Responsibilities will include:
• Liaising with agent lenders, central credit division and business managers:
• To confirm the correct legal identity of underlying principal lenders.
• To understand business priorities and action accordingly.
• To work with central credit team to ensure correct processes/procedures are followed and the necessary information is documented in line with internal policies.
• Collecting financial information regarding lenders from agent lenders and from publicly availably sources.
• Summarising the information so that it can be presented to central risk management for credit approvals.
Who we're looking for
This role would suit a candidate from an audit/credit background but candidates from other backgrounds will be considered.
To succeed in the role you will:
• Understand and be able to read and analyse financial statements.
• Understand different classes of legal entities, agency relationships and have a capacity to understand regulations that impact agency lending.
• Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to present information to senior management concisely and confidently.
• Be highly motivated and driven.
• Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• The ability to manage multiple, competing priorities.
• Educated to degree level (or equivalent) preferably in a finance or accounting related discipline.
• Strong PC skills: Word, Excel.
