Senior Data Architect

My client is a top 10 global fund manager with over 500 billion pounds of assets under management and an excellent reputation within the industry. They are looking for a first class Data Architect to perform a multi-functional role covering data modelling, enterprise reference architecture definition and solution data architecture.

You will work with other enterprise and solution architects, application developers, analysts and business users to support development teams and data consumers by developing fully attributed data models. The target environments require well developed skills in relational, dimensional, class and XML modelling.

You will be required to work with global IA associates to develop information architecture standards and guidelines and responsible for information architecture design, in line with standards and reference architectures, on a project basis.

You are a talented achiever with not only the technical expertise but the refined and in depth interpersonal skills to fully perform in a world class fund manager.

Required:
X Highly skilled in logical and physical relational data modelling/design
X Excellent data analysis skills, i.e. able to produce data models directly from SME interviews
X Experienced in the creation of enterprise wide data models and the processes, methods and governance employed to achieve consistency of definition and structure.
X Knowledgeable about commercial DBMS, especially Oracle, Sybase & SQLServer including familiarity in SQL (DDL and DML)
X Knowledge of XML Schema
X Knowledge of ETL, data integration and data warehouse
X In depth knowledge of Embarcadero ER Studio, AllFusion Erwin and Model Manager or similar data modelling tools/repositories.
X Skilled influencer and data evangelist
