As the Finance Analyst, the key purpose of your role is to work closely with both financial and non-financial colleagues across the business to help ensure good, timely analysis and reporting of business performance
You will fully support your manager in the delivery of analysis and reports to both the Business and Finance communities, and partner with the commercial teams to ensure these key functions are appropriately supported in terms of Business control & analysis.
Based in their Oxfordshire office, your key responsibilities will include:
• Assist with Annual budgeting process and quarterly re-forecast
• Deliver accurate and timely financial support for appropriate business unit teams.
• Understanding and interpretation of financial results, preparation of variance analysis and conclusive reporting in support of the business decision making processes
• Tracking of both revenue and costs, providing clear timely reporting of variances and key driver analysis
•Support the Finance Manager in ad hoc analysis/projects

Who we're looking for
We are looking for a candidate currently in the early to part qualified level of studying CIMA / ACCA who are looking to grow and forward their career in a global leading FTSE 100 company.
You will ideally already be working for a large company (however not essential), but most importantly you will have outstanding interpersonal skills as this company offers great progression and this role alongside many more senior roles you can look forward to internally do require communication to non financial and senior members of staff.
You will probably be in your first or second mainstream finance role (i.e. assistant accountant/analyst/management accountant etc) and will be looking for a new challenge in a company that will support you through qualification and far beyond.
You will also have a very strong knowledge of Excel and be confident with Macros etc, other relevant software packages such as Oracle & Hyperion would be beneficial.
Candidates fitting the following criteria will have a clear advantage above other applicants:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Economics or Finance
• 2 years relevant experience in a corporate finance environment, preferably including budgeting & forecasting
• Strong spreadsheet, financial modelling
