Defining the set of data model artefacts and the relationships between them that make up the GIG Information Model
Specifying and implementing the modelling tools, templates and governance processes required to manage the GIG Information model
Creation and management of the GIG Data Dictionary
Definition of entity and attribute level book of record definition
Integration of GIG internal data standards with external industry standards
Leadership of individual data modellers, be they information architects, liaison architects, BSAs or programmer/analysts as they carry out modelling tasks associated with the GIG Information Model
Highly skilled in logical and physical relational data modelling/design
Excellent data analysis skills, i.e. able to produce data models directly from SME interviews
Experienced in the creation of enterprise wide data models and the processes, methods and governance employed to achieve consistency of definition and structure.
Knowledgeable about commercial DBMS, especially Oracle, Sybase & SQLServer including familiarity in SQL (DDL and DML)
Knowledge of XML Schema
Knowledge of ETL, data integration and data warehouse
In depth knowledge of Embarcadero ER Studio, AllFusion Erwin and Model Manager or similar data modelling tools/repositories.
Skilled influencer and data evangelist

Who we're looking for
Knowledge of an ETL toolset(s), especially Informatica Power Center
Skilled in class/object modelling
Knowledge of ODS, Data Warehouse, and Data Mart design
Knowledge of financial industry standard XML vocabularies
Knowledge of the securities or mutual fund industry
Knowledge of a variety of information architecture themes such as EAI, EII, metadata management, master data management, data warehousing, data quality, data virtualization and others.
Ability to establish and document a current state information architecture
Working knowledge of data management platform characteristics and design alternatives/trade-offs (e.g. in circumstances XYZ use Oracle 10g because ?)
