A brand new delivery focussed role Investment Banking arm of a leading Bank, looking for expertise in people strategy and Organisational Effectiveness based in the City.
As a result of recent changes this essential role has been created. You will need to demonstrate expertise in project delivery and excellence from an Investment banking environment to understand the pace and gravitas necessary to 'make things happen'.
Working closely with HR you will on various projects such as:advising on the most effective people strategy (to make sure this Bank remains employer of choice), content of talent programmes, staff feedback schemes, community service and CSR projects
Further information on activities includes:
• Management of the CSR programme including activity provisioning, charity engagement, marketing and performance reporting
• Develop and execute a strategy to improve employee feedback scores
• Manage ad hoc projects as required - examples of the types of projects which might be in scope include roll out of a new holiday system, roll out of an ePerformance system, review of Blackberry strategy, review of the Client Onboarding process - various ad hoc projects
• Manage the relationship with HR to ensure delivery of Investment Banking Support requirements relating to Learning and Development, Talent development and the value proposition for staff
• Monitor the success of their skills and talent development programmes and ensure that organisational needs are being met
• Management of intranet sites
• Development and execution of a communications plan

Who we're looking for
You will have a degree level education along with previous experience of working in a similar role in an Investment Banking environment. You key expertise will need to be in project management/delivery of People Strategy & Organisational effectiveness along with:
• Delivering high quality output - demonstrating attention to detail
• Delivering commercial value through innovation and process re engineering
• Proven track record of delivery relating to large scale projects
• Excellent influencing, relationship management and negotiation skills
• Experience in leading and motivating people
• Teamwork and managing varied relationships including senior management, overseas colleagues, and vendors
• Managing ambiguity
• Operating within a global environment. ideally with some Consultancy expertise
Technical Expertise:
• Project management expertise ( you will personally be managing a 'virtual' team)
• Influencing and negotiating skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
• Highly developed inter-personal skills
